Hello! Tara Chisum here with Chisum Realty Group. After being in quarantine for so long we are thrilled to be getting back to normalcy and giving back to our communities, so in this episode we’re going to talk about some volunteer and sponsorship opportunities and we would love for you to join us! Before we jump in, I want to make sure you know about two new blog posts on chisumgroup.com. One is the June events calendar and the other is the monthly market snapshot. All right, let’s go!
First up, normalcy. New Mexico is now following the cdc guidelines and fully vaccinated people no longer have to wear mass in public, so let’s see those smiling faces and are we shaking hands? I don’t know, I like the fist bump anyway.
Next up, giving back. All around the world Keller Williams offices volunteer a day of service called Red Day and because our team is such overachievers, we’re going to do two. So we’ll have one Red Day event in Angel Fire and another in Taos.
I’m standing in front of a Taos Habitat for Humanity construction site. They are currently building three homes for Taos locals and we’re going to bring a crew of 14 team members to give them a hand. If you want to join us, It’s June 17th. We can learn and share some construction skills. We’re hoping to be building with adobe bricks! So, if you’re not one to roll up your sleeves then check out taoshabitat.org for some other ways to contribute.
This month we are also sponsoring For The Health Of It. A virtual walk to raise money for Taos cancer support services. This is an amazing organization helping our neighbors in a time of need. You too can sign up a team and walk for the health event. The virtual walk is June 25th through the 27th.
When it comes to weed, we’re pulling it, not smoking it! This Angel Fire Red Day we will be partnering for the 10th year in a row with our friends at the Angel Fire Garden Club and we will be pulling weeds and beautifying the median at North Angel Fire Road. We’ll be out there June 28th from 9 30 to noon so grab your gardening gloves and come and join us, or at least give us a honk and a wave as you drive by!
So we hope to see you out in about this month and keep an eye out for our next video in July. We will be slicing and dicing the data for our mid-year market report. I can’t wait and i’ll see you then
