  • 17th Annual McDonald Lecture Series

The United Church of Angel Fire presents Seven Deadly Secrets by Dr. Paul Jones for the 17th McDonald Lecture Series. The lectures will begin with Sunday morning worship at 11:00 AM and continue with presentations on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday evenings at 6:30 PM.

August 8

  • Habla Tamale Cook-off and Festival

The first ever  New Mexico Tamale Cook-off will take place from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm in Angel Fire, NM. Enter your tamales to earn bragging rights and prove yours are the best! Enjoy a tamale cook-off, tamale Logo-2eating contest, and tamale tasting. Live music, battle of the Bands, kids zone, and arts & crafts booths. The Moreno Valley Arts Council has teamed up with Hable Tamale, including “Arts About Town” at the event. Enter to be crowned Wally or Molly Tamale! Fun for the entire family!

  • Holy Angels Annual Sock Hop/Dinner

August 28  – 29

Ragnar Trail Angel Fire-NM presented by Salomon is nestled in the heart of the Enchanted Circle. It’s here that Ragnarians will free their inner wild as they Run. Camp. Sleep? Repeat. over two days and one night. Grab seven of your friends (or three of your crazier friends) to form a team, and get ready to run on world class single-track trails. We promise unforgettable, not easy. Over three different trails Ragnarians will experience breathtaking views of the Moreno Valley, the Sangre de Cristo range and Wheeler Peak – New Mexico’s highest peak! Back at Ragnar Village the party will come alive under billions of stars, live music and bonfires. Add Angel Fire to your adventure getaway radar – this is one race that shouldn’t be missed!

On-going Events:

  • Wheeler Peak Cowboy Fellowship

Every Weds. night at 5:30 pm at the Cove Arts Center, Angel Fire, N.  Pot luck dinner followed by western swing gospel and contemporary non-denominational praise and worship led by Crossfire.

  • Angel Fire Senior Co-ed Softball League

All summer: Tuesday’s 10:00 am and Thursday’s 5:30 am.  Angel Fire Sports Complex, (artificial turf) Join us for the 4rd season of Senior (55+) Softball League (The Embers) The aim is to have fun, not to be highly competitive.

  • Rotary Club Meeting

Every Weds. at noon. Hail’s Holy Smoked Bar B Que on Hwy 434, located in the strip mall next to the Angel Fire Mini Mart
