What’s better than the chance to live, work and play in beautiful Angel Fire? The chance to do it alongside wonderful people! The Power of Teamwork Group was reminded of this as we joined our clients (and fast friends), Henrik and Lone Krarup, at their newly purchased property, the Wildflower Bed and Breakfast. The homemade snacks were scrumptious, the conversation fun, and the home delightful. The traditional Danish mulled wine was the obvious crowd favorite. It may be called gløgg – hard to say as the name escaped us after the first deliciously warm mug. It satisfied, or should I say awakened, a craving we never knew existed. We can’t wait to make it a winter holiday tradition in our homes as well.
Henrik and Lone, originally from Denmark, moved to Angel Fire from North Carolina. They long dreamt of moving west to the Rockies and settling into a little mountain B&B. Lucky for us, their adventurous spirits landed in Angel Fire at the Wildflower B&B. Built in 1996 by Brian Shuter Construction, the house was designed to host a B&B by its former owners, Dean and Joan Douglass. The home features a grand yet comfy living room, gourmet kitchen and fabulous dining areas. The four guest rooms bear th e names of wildflowers –Columbine, Morning Glory, Wild Rose, and Wild Iris – each with its own amazing mountain view.
We fully expect Lone and Henrik will consistently earn 5-star ratings as they are genuinely warm, friendly and welcoming folks – the perfect hosts! The Power of Teamwork couldn’t be more pleased that Angel Fire is the perfect fit for the Krarups and we look forward to seeing them enjoy many years of success and happiness in our beautiful valley!
